Introduction to Futsal

Designed for anyone aged 16 or over who wants to start coaching futsal, this FA module introduces the fundamentals of the game with no prior futsal experience or qualifications required. It covers what futsal is, why it benefits players, where it can be played, what training sessions might look like, and the core attacking and defending skills involved. Learners are also encouraged to join an accompanying Futsal Community for ongoing support and resources.

The course is delivered entirely online by England Football Learning, the FA's dedicated learning platform, and takes approximately 60 minutes to complete. It is free of charge and accessible on mobile, tablet, laptop, or desktop. Participants need only an FA Number to enrol. No formal qualification is awarded, though a record of achievement is saved to the learner's FA account on completion.
