National Futsal Course

Designed for coaches already holding the Introduction to Coaching Football or Level 1 in Coaching Football qualification, the National Futsal Course develops a deeper understanding of futsal and its laws, with a focus on practical application. Participants learn to observe and coach core technical skills and movements, support players in attacking and defending as a team, and deliver appropriate coaching sessions in their own environments. Candidates must be actively coaching a team in a season-long competition and hold current first aid and safeguarding qualifications.

Delivered by England Football Learning (The FA), the course follows a blended format comprising two face-to-face practical days — each eight hours long — alongside two online multiple-choice assessments. Supporting resources include an Online Game Guide, a Laws of the Game module, practice cards, and a digital coaching notebook. The course is priced at £128 and takes place at various locations across England.
