Striker Analysis

Designed for scouts and analysts at an intermediate level, this workshop from the International Professional Scouting Organisation examines the striker position in the modern game. It covers the various striker roles used in contemporary football — from the target man to the false nine — exploring the qualities and styles required in different systems. Topics include assessing individual attributes, identifying a striker's strengths and weaknesses, and conducting deep analysis of the position. No prerequisites are required to attend.

The workshop is delivered entirely online via Zoom, running for approximately one and a half to two hours including a Q&A session. It is hosted by one of IPSO's experienced scouts or analysts, drawn from a pool of tutors with Premier League and international backgrounds. Participants receive a certificate of completion, and the course carries CPD accreditation through the CPD Group.
