UEFA Goalkeeping B Diploma

Delivered by The FA, the UEFA Goalkeeping B Diploma is an advanced qualification aimed at coaches working, or aspiring to work, as full-time goalkeeping coaches in the professional or semi-professional game. The course covers goalkeeping performance analysis, youth development, psychological coaching techniques, session design, talent identification, and defending models both in and out of possession. Applicants must already hold the UEFA C Diploma and the National Goalkeeping Course before applying.

The course is delivered face-to-face across two three-day residential modules, with accommodation and meals provided, spanning a total of six learning days over up to 12 months. Assessment combines independent study, club-based practical tasks, and a 30-minute summary interview. Successful candidates earn the UEFA B in Coaching Goalkeepers diploma, a recognised credential that supports employability in professional football and provides a pathway to the UEFA Goalkeeping A Diploma.
