UEFA Pro Diploma

The UEFA Pro Diploma is the highest-level coaching qualification offered by The FA, designed for experienced professionals aspiring to work at the very top of football. It targets coaches and managers seeking roles in the Premier League, Football League, FA Women's Super League, Women's Championship, and the international game. Applicants must hold the UEFA A Diploma (for a minimum of 12 months) and have full-time professional experience in roles such as manager, head coach, or first-team coach. The qualification is mandatory for all Premier League first-team managers.

Delivered face-to-face by The FA, the course runs over 18 months across seven modules, combining practical and theory workshops at St. George's Park with independent study and a minimum of six one-to-one coach development visits. Participants also undertake an overseas study visit to an international tournament. Upon completion, candidates earn the UEFA Pro Diploma, the highest coaching credential in the professional game.
