Aimed at anyone curious about a career in performance analysis, this introductory module from AnalyiSport covers what performance analysts do, how analysis supports coaching and training, the data and software involved, and what a typical analyst's working week looks like. Drawing on the real-world experiences of analysts from the Premier League, Women's Super League, and Championship, it uses a half-time dressing room scenario to illustrate how professionals apply performance data in practice. Interactive exercises allow learners to engage directly with data.

The module is delivered entirely online and is designed to be completed in under a day, with learners progressing at their own pace via browser on a laptop or PC. A certificate of completion is awarded, and the module also counts as the first part of AnalyiSport's Level 1 Foundation in Performance Analysis qualification.
