Winger Analysis

Designed for coaches, scouts, analysts, and players at an intermediate level, this workshop from the International Professional Scouting Organisation focuses on in-depth analysis of the modern winger. Participants explore how the wide-man role adapts across different formations, tactical systems, and levels of the game, examining the attributes, strengths, and weaknesses that differentiate players in this position. No prerequisites are required, and the workshop is open to anyone wishing to sharpen their understanding of wide-player analysis.

Delivered live online via Zoom, the session runs for approximately one and a half to two hours, including a Q&A segment. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate of completion, and the workshop carries CPD accreditation through the CPD Group. Tutors vary by session and are drawn from a pool of experienced scouts and analysts with backgrounds in professional and international football. The workshop is part of IPSO's broader Level 2 series.
