Level 2 Performance Analysis in Football

Designed for those looking to build foundational knowledge in performance analysis, this intermediate-level course from the PFSA explores how data science and technological tools are used to evaluate player performance objectively. It covers both quantitative data and qualitative methods, including video analysis of tactics and formations, with the aim of supporting the coaching process, optimising performance, and delivering tactical insights.

The course is delivered entirely online in a self-paced format, taking approximately three to four hours to complete. It is produced and delivered by the Professional Football Scouts Association (PFSA) and carries an endorsement from Instat, reflecting input from current industry-leading experts. The course falls within the PFSA's Level 2 Performance Analysis in Football programme and is conducted in English.
