Level 1 Talent Identification in Football

Designed for those looking to enter the world of football scouting and recruitment, the PFSA Level 1 Talent Identification in Football course covers all core aspects of the talent identification process across 11 modules. Developed in line with the EPPP, it provides a grounded introduction to what is required to operate as a football scout or elite coach, and serves as a recognised stepping stone toward further study at Level 2. It is an entry-level programme and does not prepare candidates for immediate senior-level roles.

The course is delivered entirely online and is self-paced, making it accessible around existing commitments. It can be completed within a single day and is offered in English by the Professional Football Scouts Association (PFSA), whose course content was developed in collaboration with Premier League scouts, Heads of Recruitment, and Academy Managers.
